Santa Rosa Beach, FL – January 25, 2019 - Furniture South recently awarded Tammy Mathews the Designer of the Year for 2018. “Tammy has been on our design team for five years and is a high producer who makes her customers feel special. She works hard and will do whatever it takes to complete a job under budget and on time," said Julie Kovach, Partner and Manager of Design, Furniture South.
Tammy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in interior design degree, minoring in business from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. After working for twenty years as a designer in Birmingham, Alabama, Tammy and her family moved to the beautiful 30A area in 2012. “I found myself loving the clientele and the feel of beach life. My clients are locals, investors, travelers - yet all have a unified love for what our area provides. My number one goal is connecting with my clients, and I don’t take it lightly that they trust me with their HOME. I design for them, welcome their input and handle their project completely. We all live busy lives these days, and it gives me great satisfaction to hear clients say they love coming home; some have even moved here permanently because they just can't leave. Each job is unique, and I have absolutely loved being a designer for over 25 years,” said Tammy.
